My first tournament

Hello again internet.  In my firsts blog post I said that I had a few goals for the upcoming year, number one: to update this blog on a weekly basis... check.  Now onto number two, play in my first tournament ever.

The tournament I will be participating is a local tournament (http://www.dmbbrawl.com/).  So the main question is what army will I run?  I have a two at my disposal eldar and space marines.  From what I have read it seems as though eldar are the more competitive of the two, but I really have a soft spot for my crimson fists.

So I will be running crimson fists.  Its an 1850 point tournament So I figure I ought to work up an army list...

(these are not my crimson fists... Obviously.  I will add up some pictures of my own as soon as I wrangle up a decent camera)

So here goes, an 1850 space marine army it will be a bit of a work in progress for a few weeks and I will do some practice games here and there as I can with folks.   I'm lookin' at you Nick...

So that's what I am going to run through some for some practice games.  What I am concerned about so far is lack of anti air support, I have all of the models for this except for the Chapter master and Bike command squad.  Main reason I includeed them was for killing things like riptides....   I guess I should mention I absolutely hate riptides :)

I have been wanting to try out grav guns for a while.
